I've been in India for 5 months. And I thought it would be nice if I visit Agra where the Taj Mahal is. A few days ago, I asked a staff to book a round trip ticket to Agra and reserve a room at a inexpensive hotel. I left Delhi this morning and I am now at the Agra hotel.
Front desk clerk : Good afternoon, sir. How can I help you?
Hankuk : I believe my friend made a reservation for me. My name is Hankuk Kim.
Front desk clerk : No sir. I cannot find your name, I'm sorry.
Hankuk : Well, he said he did. Would you please check the list again?
Front desk clerk : I'm sorry. I cannot find your name on the reservation list.
Hankuk : Then, do you have any vacancies available now?
Front desk clerk : Yes, sir. How long would you like to stay?
Hankuk : For two days.
Front desk clerk : What kind of room would you like?
Hankuk : A single.
Front desk clerk : O. K. Will you be paying by credit card or by cash?
Hankuk : By credit card. In fact, by visa. Here you are.
Front desk clerk : Your name is Hankuk Kim? Would you please complete the guest registration card, while I take an impression of your card?
Hankuk : Certainly.
Front desk clerk : Here's your credit card, Mr. Kim, and your room key. And your room is on the third floor. Do you need assistance?
Hankuk : No, thank you. By the way, is the restaurant still serving lunch?
Front desk clerk : The restaurant closes at 3. It is on the ground floor.
Hankuk : Thank you very much.
Front desk clerk : My pleasure. Enjoy your stay with us.

호텔에서
인도에 머문지 벌써 5개월이 되었습니다. 타지마할이 있는 아그라에 갔다오면 좋겠다는 생각이 들었습니다. 며칠 전, 한 간사님에게 아그라까지 왕복 표와 비싸지 않은 호텔에 방 하나를 예약해 달라고 부탁해 두었습니다.
오늘 아침에 델리를 떠나서 지금은 아그라 호텔에 도착했습니다.
Front desk clerk : 어서 오세요. 어떻게 도와 드릴까요?
Hankuk : 제 친구가 방을 하나 예약해 두었을텐데, 제 이름은 김한국입니다.
Front desk clerk : 아니요. 손님 이름을 찾을 수 없는데요. 죄송합니다.
Hankuk : 글쎄요. 예약을 했다고 했는데. 다시 확인해 보시겠어요?
Front desk clerk : 죄송합니다. 예약자 명단에서 손님의 성함을 찾을 수 없는데요.
Hankuk : 그러면, 빈 방이 있나요?
Front desk clerk : 얼마나 머무실 예정이시지요?
Hankuk : 이틀 입니다.
Front desk clerk : 무슨 방을 드릴까요?
Hankuk : 싱글이요.
Front desk clerk : 예, 계산은 신용카드와 현금 중 어느 것으로 하시겠습니까?
Hankuk : 신용카드요. 비자입니다. 여기 있습니다.
Front desk clerk : 성함이 김한국씨 이지요? 여기 숙박계에 기재하시고, 카드를 조회해 보아도 될까요?
Hankuk : 물론이죠.
Front desk clerk : 카드 여기 있습니다. 이것이 방 열쇠이고, 방은 삼층에 있습니다. 도움이 필요하세요?
Hankuk : 아니요, 괜찮습니다. 그런데, 식당은 아직 열려 있지요?
Front desk clerk : 식당은 3시에 닫힙니다. 그리고 일 층에 있습니다.
Hankuk : 고맙습니다.
Front desk clerk : 천만예요. 편히 쉬세요.
